Past, Present & Future Plans

OUR HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

Hypothesis

2017 - We can produce award winning short documentary content with minimal (5 hours) on location production time by implementing a production system using the 80/20 principle and the Lean Startup methodology.

Experiment

2017 - Produce 8 short documentary films within two months, then submit them to festivals to be selected or win awards. The 'Zero to World Premiere' lean film production method was born.

Conclusion

2017 - Using our 'Zero to World Premiere' method, our founder Gabor Kukucska has produced six titles in March and April, collecting 15 Official Selections, 5 Semi-Finalist, 1 Finalist, and 3 Winner positions at film festivals around the world.

Realization

2017 - Following this early success Gabor realized that this method could potentially democratize the global media landscape and help objective, uncensored self-expression through lean, independent storytelling. The first version of INSPIREFLIX was born.

Challenges

2018 - Our production method has drastically reduced time and money spent on each production, however, it didn't completely eliminate the need of a small budget. We needed to find a sustainable way to finance the production of the films.

Test, Measure & Iterate

2018 to 2020 - For the following few years we have tested various ideas and went through number of changes until we've arrived to the current (2021) version of INSPIREFLIX. We have crystalized our mission, our vision, and came up with a four stage financial action plan.
