I worked in the Mental Health field for over 10 years. I worked with both adults and children populations. I think that raising awareness of the issues that people face on a day to day basis is sobering and empowering. For some the reality of living with the stigma of their diagnosis can be crippling. For others this is their motivation to learn skills, and find resources for their survival.

This is an evocative film for me, the powerless child, the difficulty of remembering good memories of childhood. The difficulty/stigma of speaking out. But the hope in the resolution shares hope.
